The setup is designed to study the performance of reciprocating pump. Set up consists of a reciprocating pump coupled with electrical motor, supply tank, measuring tank & pipe fittings for closed loop water circulation. Pressure and Vacuum gauges are connected on delivery and suction side of pump for the purpose of measurement. The flow rate of water is measured using measuring tank and stop watch provided.

RECTANGULAR TILTING FLUME
Technical Details : Dimensions of Flume Flume Bed Side walls Inlet section Storage tanks Tilting Mechanism Length of the Flume: 12.5 m long excluding inlet and outlet section. (15m total length) Width of the Flume: 1.2 m Depth of the Flume: 0.8 m Flume bed material should be made of 10 mm thick or above SS 304 grade sheet. Maximum deflection of the bed should be within the range of 1 mm at the maximum load (flume filled with 50% sediment (sand, gravel) and 50% water) and tilt. Flume should have transparent 19 mm thick toughened glass as side walls on either side with intermediate stiffeners supporting the glass. Side wall deflection should be maximum 1 mm. Inlet section made from 2 mm thick SS 304 grade sheet. The inlet section to be well designed so that the flow enters the flume with little turbulence. Flow straightener to be provided at the inlet section and the water enters below it. All the storage tanks should be made from 2mm thick SS 304 grade sheet with Stainless Steel stiffener support. Motorized inclination with synchronized spindle lifting gears should be provided. The inclination adjustment should be between -0.75% to 2.5 %, 3 jacking stations each consisting 2 jacks + 1 pivot. Flow measurement to be done by Electromagnetic flow meter, attached to delivery pipe, degree of accuracy ± 0.2%. in delivery Output signal- 4-20Ma, electrode materialstainless steel 316L, digital communication – RS-485, support standard Modbus protocol with digital display. Tail gate made of SS 304 with thickness 8mm at the outlet end of the flume to achieve desired level of water in experiment section. The sediment trap should be mounted at the end of the test section and before tail gate Tanks should be arranged in such a way that it forms a gallery and should be used as a platform. Side railings should be provided for safety. There should be a grade rail throughout the top of the flume. One carriage should be provided which can move throughout length of the flume from inlet to tail gate. The instrument carrier which is capable of holding ADV, point gauge should be provided and it should move transverse direction on the carriage. A stair case is provided on either side of the flume. All the nut bolts and fasteners should be of Stainless steel All material that comes in contact with water are made of corrosion-resistant materials GRP/stainless steel as specified.

TS -1600X-50-UL is a compact 50mm (2") tube furnace with Kanthal 1650 oC Grade SiC Rods heating elements. It is widely used in material & chemical labs to sinter all types of new material samples under vacuum or other gas conditions up to 1600oC. The temperature of the furnace is controlled by a 30 segment programmable high precision SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) digital controller with the accuracy of +/-1 oC. High-quality alumina tube, vacuum flanges with valves, and pressure gauge are included for immediate use. The tube furnace can be placed into a glove box to process material in various atmospheres.
